Request Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your BestSelfApp account and the personal data associated with it at any time.

How to request deletion

1. Email hello@bestselfapp.xyz from the email address associated with your BestSelfApp account.
2. Use the subject BestSelfApp account deletion request and identify the BestSelfApp account you want deleted. Do not send your password or journal content.
3. We will verify the request if necessary and confirm when deletion is complete.

Data covered by the request

Deletion covers the account information and personal entries associated with your BestSelfApp account, including saved events, activities, feelings, intentions, notes, and reflections stored in our back-end systems.

Personal data associated with the account is retained for no longer than 30 days after a verified deletion request, except where a legal obligation requires longer retention. Some information may instead be anonymized so it can no longer be associated with you. Website access logs are not linked to an app account and follow the separate 365-day operational retention period described in our Privacy Policy.

Deleting the mobile app from your device does not by itself submit an account-deletion request.
